[H] Stock Alerts, Tips & Tears 2025

I really have no desire to buy a 50 series card and am still good with my 12GB 3080 for now. But I signed up for the VPA for a 5090, 5080 and 5070ti I think. If I get selected for a 5090, I'm definitely flipping it or I'll keep one of the other two.

Glad to see being on their Notify list works...never got one and I'm on it lol

I tried this a few years ago. Many months and many restocks on B&H later, I finally got a notification but I was already using my new graphics card for months at that point. Not sure it works that well, but doesn't hurt to try.

I’m starting to think that they go by how often you shop there. They aren’t my first go to, but I use them occasionally. I put in to be notified once they appeared on their site and haven’t gotten anything from them.

If you get a 5070ti Founders Edition, you should flip it on eBay because it will be the only one in existence. ;-)

I just remember it giving me three card options to select for interest and I selected all three. 😜

Incoming price changes at BB.

Saw that and was going to post it. The MSRP cards now have 38 minutes left until the "deal ends". Shame, Best Buy was the only one keeping it at MSRP. Wanted to get a 5070ti Windforce at MSRP. Still waiting for my ASUS Prime to come to the store.

Or it could just be a bug on the website, but seeing that Newegg, Amazon and B&H seemingly increased prices I feel like Best Buy was going to follow eventually.

Edit: 5070ti Gigabyte Windforce now $825. ASUS Prime now $830. Seems to be mirroring the newegg prices. Suppose that is the new MSRP for those cards.

Yup, PNY kept it at $2000 for quite a while. Then it suddenly shows up at $3200.
As smaller players in the market, PNY and Zotac likely lack the supply chain flexibility to sustain lower prices.

PNY is the last 5070ti at MSRP, I assume their next restocks will see a price jump like their 5090s. Zotac has been good in terms of the coolers/price ratio over the last few years but again, I assume if we see more restocks those will shoot up across the board. They actually already have if I recall. Haven't see a 5080 of theirs in stock for a while, though they get frequent restocks of the $1000 5070ti (same as MSRP model with minor OC).

Other brands like Pallit and Galax I can't find up on Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, or other big stores. I assume their market is primarily not in the US.

Asus loves their prices higher than everyone else. Gives them that "superior" feeling.;)
I'm curious to see a breakdown of some of the hardware from other companies to see if they deviate from the baseline in the way that some Asus models, particularly the Astral (and before that the Strix / Matrix 4090 etc) did in terms of VRM. Don't get me wrong I think the prices are insane, but if I'm going to spend $3000+ for a 5090, I'd rather it be the highest end one not just in terms of performance or cooling, but VRM and other component safety. I vaguely remember a Buildzoid comparison where they showed that the Asus Astral tried to make up for some of the problems that were commonplace in the FE's power delivery, but could only deviate so far from what NVidia seems to demand (otherwise, an AIB could split it properly a la the 3090 era). Have there been any updates breaking down the differences in hardware, cooling, PCB design, VRM and power delivery etc.. between various 5090s? Last I had seen ther wasn't anything reputable aside from thea forementioned Buildzoid video, but maybe there's something more recent.

Being able to discern the hardware (and firmware, feature etc)differences between the varying 5090 models is helpful especially as prices continue to ascend and availability remains in the toilet.

5090's are consistently in stock at 3.3k price point, maybe scalping is gonna be less profitable with readily available cards at less than their 4k+ asking scalp. Supply could increase and reach a lower price equilibrium.

Looks like amazon is filling stock back up, I guess the next question is how much longer before the people willing to pay 200 over msrp run out, stocks really get full and price competition begins.

If anybody is looking for the lowest priced 5090 that will be the Zotac 5090 Solid OC at $2900.
Still in stock. They charge shipping and might charge partial sales tax depending on your state.

MSI 5090 models show up occasionally on Walmart. Best deal is probably the Vangard SOC (beefy cooler) at $3050.

way below scalper prices. Hopefully those dudes have to eat a big loss here soon.

Good question. Trackalacker shows the largest inventory I've seen yet for RTX 5080s but the prices keep going up. Whatever, let it pile up in their warehouses.

Wow, after 9+ hours, still available. Looks to me like demand is trending downwards and supply keeps increasing or perhaps holding steady. I guess we should all wait.
Microcenter has had 5600ti, 5700, 5700ti, and 5800 all in stock since the 5600ti came out (none of them lower than at least $100 over MSRP, but they're in stock), and only the 5800 occasionally was going out of stock over the last few weeks.

The 9070 series, on the other hand, seems to either be in high demand (even at the ridiculous price inflation it has had) or in very low supply.

both plus its mostly down to those unwilling to pay these still stupid prices.

It's been in stock for at least 19 hours since this post, which is quite unusual considering that both the Best Buy Gigabyte and ASUS, despite being priced higher, sold out quickly.
It also dropped on the ASUS store 2 hours ago and that sold out.
Maybe Newegg has plenty of stock + $13 shipping 🤣 + wavering demand + people saw the thermal gel drooping down issue when mounted vertically. Gigabyte claims it is from earlier batches and has been addressed.
