I know a lot of us these days use intel for gaming, but this should be a way to build a nice 8 core ZFS server with amd+ecc combo.

The Asus M5 A97 R2.0 is offered @ $40 off which makes the bundle price with 8320e @ $149.98. The board officiall supports ddr3 ecc unbuffered as well.

The M5A78LMUSB3 supports ecc and also supports the 8320e and works as part of the $40 off bundle.
