The [H] BOINC team is in a tight race for team with the most computing power this year. We've been in first place the first half of the year, but XS has recently taken over our position and we need help getting it back.

Right now we are pushing to gain some positions on GPUGrid. This project is a BIO Medical type project.

We are only 283,210,774 points behind 2nd place for an additional 3 overall points. We're averaging around 8 Million points per day as it is which means we should take 2nd place in about 35 days.

If any of you have any idling GPUs that you can toss on this project for a week or so it would help us greatly. The BOINC manager software is highly configurable. You can set it up to pause work when you're using the computer. So when you want to play some games or watch videos using your GPU it'll pause the work and not interfere with your session.

It should be only connecting to one server. Though sometimes the projects (I don't think this one does) has 2 or 3 servers for uploading and downloading.

edit
Based on their server status page

Seems they have one server that does it all.

Yes a 780 would help as well. Few hundred thousand points per day if it's running all the time.

How many points does a GTX 1080 do per day? What about a GTX 1070ti ? R9 390?

No idea, but you can look at other peoples setups and get a general idea on what they might be able to do. Just remember that "Recent Average Credit" is credit based on the last 7 days (or there about) and in most cases it's lower than actual PPD numbers. Also note that they have Linux CPU tasks so if the rig is running Linux it's possible they were running Linux CPU tasks instead or with GPU tasks.

Still gaining points on them. Need more help though.
