H-IPS 27" +/- 300€ (LG IPS277L)

1080p is enough with 1440p i need to scale down in games and trun up the front size. Not everybody sticks with the nose on the screen.

As stated above, since it's an LG monitor too, I'd expect it to have heavy coating. I used to own a LG TN, and even it had an extra share of coating.

And those with more LCD experience out than can correct me if I'm wrong, but almost every IPS monitor has IPS glow, right? The only differences may be purple (sips) vs white glow, or perhaps a little less glow/bleed if using ccfl vs led.

And the exception of course being IPS + A-TW, but you'd need to venture into the used market for that.

Has anybody read the prads review and can share their conclusions about image quality and input lag?

I tried this monitor before the I tried the ASUS VG27AH (also IPS). Both the LG and ASUS gave me bad light bleed or "glow".

Eventually settled on a A-MVA BenQ GW2750HM panel and its fantastic.
