I was just wondering why this benchmark wasn't done with the 1.2 patch, since this makes the test kinda "obsolete" regarding the actual preformance on any 6800 card? :confused:
And why was the X800XT-PE compared to the 6800GT(OC'ed)? :confused:
Are they in the same pricerange? :confused:
Isn't the 6800GT supossed to be "parred" against the X800PRO? :confused:

The 1.2 patch wasn't available. And yes, the x800pro is competing with the 6800u in farcry. According to the review only the x800xt can go 1600x1200 4xaa and 16af and still be playable with high game settings. But the 6800gt is a good bang for your buck card.

hard to review with something you don't got

when i did the review we did not have the beta 1.2 patch

the patch was released to us only as of last week, and the review was well done and editted by then, it was to late

also, the 1.2 patch isn't even released yet to the public

also, dx9.0c isn't even out yet for the public, except for it being in the RC of SP2, which isn't final yet either

we haven't reviewed a 6800GT yet, that was the BFG 6800Ultra OC video card

I'm curious Brent, were you told that the 1.2 patch was to be expected on Monday (7/5) like the rest of the sites reported? Rumour is that Nvidia stated the were told directly from Ubi and that they just relayed the info to the review sites.
