This might be the time for some [H]ardApe FPP (Front Page Pimpage), directing all to the official thread.
Seems newsworthy and might remind current folders to make the switch and (hopefully) end up
recruiting some new members.

I already PMed Steve and Kyle last week without any word. I sent a new one to Tim (weekend news poster), Lethal and Kyle in hope they make a post.

If someone can send a email, do it. If enough request this, we will have a chance for some FPP ;)

 
Please remember that they are not obligated to do this. So please email them and be professional as possible.
 
Probably good not to bug them too much. It's a reasonable request,
newsworthy, and good for the cause. They have come through well
in the past, so I am hopeful.

good news : Terry Olaes is ready to post something about the challenge and he asked me to come up with the text and the link so I'm asking for ideas as to make the news article attractive, professional and inspiring (I tried to come up with something but somehow, I fell flat when it come to inspiration).

Try to make it short but to the point. Think about attracting non-folders as well so a short word about folding is in order.

 
Thanks to DE for a good rough text. I tweaked and submitted to Terry so he will polish it and post shortly. Tomorrow, Steve will make another one at noon as a reminder ;)

Thanks a *LOT* Terry and Staff for the front page coverage. We're going to need as many [H]orde members as possible to make this go over smoothly, and the up front exposure will certainly be a big help! You guys are great! :)


 
Thank you again Terry and I agree with the above posters, we do need all the exposure we can get because we're gonna' need a lot of mops and squeegies (SP) to get up all the tears from the other teams folders when they get "smoked city" from the [H]orde. (we wouldn't want to slip carrying the coveted Jaded Monkey) :D

Ahh... pretty light hearted huh? :rolleyes:
