Well i have Windows XP running on one of my Machines and i do not want to wipe it, I just installed another hard drive and wish to install windows 7 on it and then Dual boot my machine. Is it as simple as putting my windows 7 disc in the drive and setting the installation path to the new drive or is there something else i need to do, I really dont want to screw up the current OS, Thanks guys ive done a little reading on the Net but Google isnt always the best way id rather hear from the HardOcp Gurus before i mess something up ;)

Ok sweet, My friend said he tried that and he could not load either system, After he installed Windows 7 when he tried to load his PC the SYStem would just hang at the bootup screen leaving him no option of choosinf either OS.

you might need to mess with the boot loader or grub for linux but try it out and windows 7 boot loader should see both. you can use easybcd possibly.
