In celebration of Saint Patrick's Day this year, there are three songs you can download from the 360 marketplace for free. I think it's all Dropkick Murphys songs.

I posted this on general gaming because I'm not sure whether or not PCs are getting this for free (probably not).

Ya PC GH3 doesnt have any DLC whatsoever. Aspyr really effed us over.

That really sucks. But if it makes you feel any better... Wii owners don't get the DLC either.

How is the PC version? Lag free on your system?

It'd probably be easy to get your rank up really high on the PC version because there's so few people playing on it.

I heard this is available on PSN as well for PS3 owners.... WOOT

---confirmed; just dl'ed

Its prefectly lag free on my computer, but the requirements are steep.

There are actually a lot of people that play this game online, and some of them are REALLY good, so its not the easy to get your rank up (unless you play an easier difficulty like hard or medium).

The one good thing about the PC version is the ability to add customs, it takes a bit of work but its fairly flawless and you can play any song. Its loads easier than trying on a Xbox 360 or PS2.

You can add customs natively? Or must you hack? I've always wanted to get into customs.

On scorehero.com, the submitted scores for those with the PC version are MUCH worse than that of the 360, ps2, and wii versions. I can only assume, then, that all the really good players are sticking with the older systems. Last I checked, there were a number of 24million+ point players (when counting the standard, non-dlc, 70 songs) on each console, but only one or two players on the pc version over 22 million (and none over 24).

It takes a bit of hack work to get custom songs into GH3 on PC, but its not terribly difficult. If you wanted to make your own, that takes a bit of work ;), but its fun if you are into music that you wouldn't be able to find notes normally.

Unfortunitly, the PC version runs crappy for me on a 7900GTO 512. I was surprised how shitty it ran. I need to upgrade.
