I have $300.00, when do you think I can get a 4070 or a 4070TI .....2024, or 2025. I figure the guesses will be a great crowd sourced prediction for the future cost of vid cards.
EDIT: Due to comments: I am thinking I can find a 4070TI used on the H by the end of 2024 due to the new 4xxx cards coming out and beating the current generation. I may be able to find a used 4070 at $300 by July if any of the newer cards come out by then. As the comments below have said the chances of find a new card in that price range would drag it out until 2025. Maybe I should start looking for a used 3090TI space heater before then.

4070 might go for $300 in 2025. You won't see a 4070 Ti for that in 2025. Maybe a handful at the most. I'd expect the prices to drop to that level halfway through the 5XXX cycle.

The days of the mid-range $300 card are pretty much over....

- Current 6700 XT prices not-withstanding

Forget NVIVIDA for that budget, go with Intel instead

3070ti have yet to reach that price on ebay in 2023, for the 4070TI it could take a very long time.

Calling it a 4080 was maybe pushing it by NVIDIA, but the difference from it and the 4070 is massive.
