Nope, no McRib but according to my wife (McManager) they are getting the cheddar melt back. :p

I just hope there are a few of these 600 pointers left for me once my main rig gets this tinker out of its system!

I've got 9 boxes still running tinkers, but 1 has picked up a 600 pointer :D

edit: Make that 2 of 10 now
 
Of course this means that the team production numbers are going to go down over the next couple of day and then really spike up.... who knows, I bet we hit a day production number of over 380k within 3-5 days.

we had a day like that in March after we started hitting 320,000 ppd.

5 of 10 running 600 pointers :) I was getting down that my production had taken such a dip. This makes me much happy!
 
I'd just like to go on the record as saying you guys stink! :p Thanks to an all night black out all my boxen are still stuck with those tinkers and don't look to be getting off them any time soon. :rolleyes: It certainly sounds like they are pushing those 600 pointers out en-masse again though, which is good.

 
just picked up one on my main rig, looks like a 110ppd difference from the 241's

i dont know if any of the farm has been infected, it resides at my parents house and they are in spain :confused:

I doubt that was the case. No one has probably completed one yet. my fastest boxes take around 48 hours to complete them and they just came back yesterday morning. But maybe you are at the head of the wave.

What XP are you running? I'm going through a frame every 12 minutes or so, and a buddy of mine that OCed his XP2500+ to 2.5 takes about 22-24 minutes a frame.
 
Chewy on a Mobile XP at 2.5GHz.

2000PPW under use.. maybe i should just use another machine for the next couple days :D

I think I may have picked one of these up at home but I had to leave before I found out what the point value was. Would be nice, haven't had one yet.

 
Well I finally got one on the P4. These would really suck on the Efficeon. Good thing it run's timeless.
 
I hope there are some left fo this P4 here at work after it's done with the Tinker. I'd like to see what a 2.8 Ghz P4 Preshott does on these. I get around 2000 PPW on them with the rig in my sig.

The sad this is that is seems I get better points per day on Tinkers with this P4 than I do with the Gromacs it has been getting. I don't know what is up with that. I do have the forceasm flag on it also and it is using SSE. It just doesn't seem to make much sense. I would just blame in on the DDR-II running in it but that shouldn't affect it that much.

It's a (D)Hell Optiplex GX280. 2.8 Ghz P4 Preshott, 512 meg DDR-II with 40 gig SATA hard drive. The damn fan in it is driving me nuts. Spins up and down depending on the CPU load, not temp. And Hyperthreading wasn't enabled on it either. Had to set it for that.

btw, since it's a work computer I only run 1 instance and won't run anymore than that.
