Hey guys, I got this rig at home, I figured the HardOCP people might get a kick out of it. So here you go:

What happens when you take two independent water cooling systems with two radiators etc, One for your MoBo(p5n32-sli) and one for your 2x8800gtx's + Quad core, and a Beastie Boys sticker (mind the cable management):

Hook up a ridiculous home made (aka ghetto rigged) ducting system to the 3 fans over the main radiator system, cause, why not?:

Live in Boulder CO, and let jack frost bring you a nice bone chilling -9 Celsius (19 Fahrenheit), first of the season, snow storm (long awaited)...

What CPU Temperature would you expect this to run at under idle windows operation?

well it keeps dropping but i have 19C right now... leetskeet has the lead with outer ducting temps, but we will see... the night is coming...

i bet it could dip below 0ºC if you're leaving it overnight....beware of condensation!

I was just about to say. You are going to get some "beer can effect" going on at your blocks and tubing. Not a good idea unless you have everything insulated properly.

Snow = Frozen Water
Frozen Water + Hotter environment = Melting
Melting = Water
Water + Electricity = Bad

I reached 18C. About this condensation problem, what can I do to cheeply fix that?, also there is no actual snow entering the tube so you know, also note this has been with the fan speed at max, allowing auto throttle, it will probably go up in temp, and slow to very quiet :)

What SB/NB coolers do you have on your mobo? I have the exact same mobo and have been looking for something to add to my WC system for it. Where did you get those other coolers too that are normally attached to the heatpipe?

Foam tubing shrouds and some jury rigged foam around the blocks is your best bet.

Okay, so I turn the fans down. And with modest 84F temps I dont expect much more frost. In the mean time, can I get this foam from my local hardware store? what am I looking for?
