What would be a good replacement for a GTX9800+? Used mostly for surfing the web and light gaming. :)

Need more info. PSU and other system components. On a whim I'd say grab a 6850. Cheap, one pci-e connector and nice performance.

5770. efficient while reasonably powerful. Or 6870 if you want to spend a little more.

GTX 460/560 is a good choice too.

i am wondering the same thing, i have a FX-6100 , a 700 watt PS, 16 gigs of ram.
looking to spend around $200 give or take $20. i am wanting to give AMD cards a try, but am a die-hard EVGA fan. I would say I am a light gamer, and have a 19" monitor

With a 19" monitor you don't need to spend anything near 200 to max out games. I would get a 6850 and call it a day.

Sorry about not stating power supply or other system specs. Power supply is an OCZ 520 watt, O/S Vista 32, And mother board is a 775 with a E7300 cpu. Not the best but good enough for the user. :D

A Radeon HD 6850 or GeForce GTX 460, as others have mentioned, would be an excellent upgrade from a price/performance standpoint. The overall power consumption will likely go down with the 6850 and may increase slightly with the 460, but should still be well within the capabilities of even an under-performing 520W PSU, which I'm pretty sure the OCZ 520W is not.

As a side note, there are apparently some GTX 460s out there with a 192-bit memory interface, such as Gigabyte's. I don't know how much of a difference it makes in raw performance, but you should be aware that there are different versions of the 460 out there, even from the same manufacturer.

If you want to give AMD, a try, I would say go 6850/6870, if you feel comfortable staying with EVGA, then go with a GTX 560.
