GTX470SLI Upgrade Time

Hey folks,

I've had a 470SLI setup for quite some time and would like to move on from the noise/heat and a single card option seems to match those requirements.

I've been looking into replacement options and have narrowed it down to a 7970, gtx670, gtx680 (on sale)

I run a dual monitor setup with the main display at 2560x1440 for gaming so the extra memory should be helpful.

Any suggestions or opinions from people who have upgraded from a 470sli to single card solutions?

since today are now on sale the GTX780.. the GTX680 will receive a major price drop in most retailer store, to get out the stocks 680.. so you could find a cheap GTX680.. or if you have some money go directly to the GTX 780 that comes with 3GB and are pretty close to the performance of a GTX TITAN..
