GTX 970-980 question

[Scootel2]

I need to build a new computer for a friend. With the GTX 970-980 out of stock what would be my best price/performance buy? I would like to be at GTX 970-980 performance so if I have to SLI that is fine.

Newegg had a couple of 970s right now

Amazon has some 970s and 980s in stock right now too.
