I have a GTX 770 (works great for my needs) and it's hooked up to two standard PC monitors using both typical connectors. I also now have the HDMI out connected to my 70" TV. My PC sees it as a third monitor which is quite nice.

Now I'd like to find a way to get it's audio passed to the TV (which outputs to the stereo). I can't figure out how to set up Windows to have it pass the system audio to it.

Anyone know how to do this?

make sure you have nvidia's audio driver installed, go into playback devices (right click the speaker in the system tray -> playback devices), find your television, and set it as the default playback device.

My bad. I kept looking at the Nvidia entries that were grayed out and entirely ignored the one that said "Samsung" (my TV) assuming it was one of my several other Samsung devices instead.

It's working well. I just wish there was an easier method for switching audio than setting "defaults". It's not a default if it's the ONLY one.
