GTX 750 TI

From what I've read here you can do up to 5 in 1 rig but not any more.

yeah but still thats 1.5 mhash, at around 300 watts at peak, that article says the were runing at 34 watts stock with no OC!!....and I have the opportunity right now to buy a bunch of MSI OC and Asus brands...hmmmm

I have 5 running in W7 perfectly, I added a 6th and shit hit the fan.

It seems that you need W8 to run more than 5 with out issues.

I am getting a win8 and I will post my results in the 750ti thread.

awesome thank you....Im this close to ordering a crap ton...what are they averageing at stock and which manufacturer you using?

Evga Superclocked ones, I have them overclocked and getting 290-295 kH/s each. With 5 of them I pull 420w from the wall.

Anyone seen a Linux build with Cudaminer running?
I saw a rumor someone was working on a Linux compiled version but no proof.
I really refuse to build anything new with Win in it....

Has anybody had any experience with a 4or 5 card set up with these, was thinking of tinkering around and buy a bunch of these from my distributor and setting up for my own farm, was wondering real life hashrate? Found and interesting article if anybody is interested.

Still on the front page, has all the info you need thanks to draksia: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1807054

Just bought 10 evga 750 ti sc, and 5 msi 750ti oc, got them for a good price, keeping 5 for myself will put up screen shots of my performance.....anybody else interested in the other ping me.

I have 6 pny 750TI on the way. Payed 149$ per card. Already have my BTC board by asrock and my 6 riser cards. I should have it up and running this weekend provided TD ships tomorrow. If not, cards will not be here till Monday.

I have a 5 750ti crate rig running rock solid stable... pulling about 1,500kh/s. I bought 6 cards total, but reading stories i'm scared to add the 6th, lol. I might try it in the next couple nights.

@jbean7457: Nice! Could you inform us - if you have or will make watt-readings - what the total system power draw is (from the wall)? And if so, also what specific model you are using.

This was posted on PC Perspective, so it should give a general idea on power draw on the system:

Our second build is based on the GTX 750 Ti. This time we instead opted for 6 x 750 Ti cards for a total of $900, which is still significantly lower than the $1200 for 4 270Xs. With 6 x 750 Ti cards, the estimated GPU power draw would only be 360W, just above half of the power draw of the 270X machine. Adding in the same 75W for additional system components the total estimated power draw works out to 435W, which allows us to purchase a cheaper power supply.
Overclock.net forums posted that the Kepler mod works that can reduce the card's current 75W to 65W TDP limit for those without a 6-pin PCI-E power connector on the card.
Kepler Bios tweaker works, can change TDP limit to 65W for boards lacking 6 pin (i.e. MSI), or up to ~90-100W for cards with 6 pin and upgraded power delivery (i.e. ASUS / Galaxy GC , EVGA FTW has +35% Power limit already)

I am on the fence here. I really want to see if i can snag R7 265's for $149~ if not id be ordering a few of these already. 4 of my r9 290s sold so my hashrate is crap now. Im planning on running 4 265s per rig undervolted at stock clocks. hopefully power draw is around 550w...

Just got my 4th 750Ti running. 1210 kh/s total, 365 watts at the wall via killawatt. EVGA FTWs

I keep reading about these 265's. Core is the same as what? 7850's?

Hmm, so 265's are 7850s? Here i thought that a r9 270 was a rebranded 7850, like this:

R9 270 = 7850
R9 270x = 7870

R9 280 = 7950
R9 280x= 7970

...where = means slightly beefed up rebranding.

So am I wrong in thinking this?

A 270 is closer to a 7870 than a 7850. The only difference between the 270 and 270X is clock speeds and $20 bucks. Most 270s can easily hit 270X clocks.

My gut tells me 265s are going to be good, be interesting to see how efficient they are. I have an asrock H81 btc board waiting for six of something...

Having already gone the 750Ti route and liked it, I'd like to go with something with more hash this time but not paying msrp + 30% for anything.

Same here. Unless the 265x can challenge the 750TI for watt per hash, I will contiune to buy 750TI's @ MSRP or lower and which I can find them in stock :p

I cant wait to set up my little test of 5....... looks like my 15 are gonna be here on Monday.....Vengance i have 10 available, jut ping me if you want more, I'm sure we could work something out.

750's or 265's?

Only difference between the X and non-X versions of the R9 cards is clock speeds.
nope... 270x has 2 6 pin power connectors while the 270 has only 1.

They are the same cards but think of the 270 as already setup for mining since they're undervolted :)

750ti 10 of the EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked & 5 of the MSI Computer Corp. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Gaming OC 2GB GDDR5 :)

That's right, forgot about the power connectors. The 270X must have been right on the edge of of the 150W limit of PCIe slot and one 6-pin.

EVGA has at least 4 different models of the 750 ti. Some have 1 fan, some have 2 fans.
