When i setup multi monitor displays using the Nvidia control panel, everything works just fine, surround grouping is also satisfactory. But when I shut my machine down and power up at a later time, my multi monitor groupings aren't saved and only the primary monitor is enabled.

This means that after every boot I have to manually re-enable the grouping, I don't recall seeing an option to save the grouping like you can with AMD eyefinity, or am I just daft and doing it wrong? Assistance appreciated.

Sounds like somethings gone goofy in your setup. I'm currently running 4 independent displays off one gtx680 with surround disabled (I'm currently playing a game that is incompatible with 3d surround) and have no problems restarting. I'm assuming you've tried restarting multiple times to rule out windows update silliness (installing and redetecting monitor drivers)?

*edit* never mind, looks like you have a handle on things...

LOL, oh I see. I mist have misread your post :p

Perhaps it was a issue experienced by some people with certain setups. Anyhow, on 301.25 and possbily newer the issue doesn't exist anymore, even for the rare few who experienced it.
