Since the radiators are made for 140 mm fans, I was thinking, that perhaps the SR1 would be the clever choice, due to the lower fin density? I am willing to use some higher speed fans on the GTX if it would mean a noticeable difference in temperature.

What do you guys think? Which radiator? And which fans would you use? I was thinking of Noise Blocker PK-series.

If you are going for a push/pull setup, I would go with the GTX. Noiseblockers are good fans, they are practically the equivalent of Gentle Typhoons for 140mm fans, but more expensive.

What if it's only pull? If I go for something in the 1500-1700 rpm range would I be able to get some air through the GTX?

I'm a little torn, since I have the 360 GTX atm, and I am looking for a performance boost if possible.

Based on what I've read, in pull only, the higher fin density radiators tend to surpass the lower fin density radiators (especially the really low FPI) anywhere in the 1400-1800 RPM range. In that range, they would be approximately equivalent.
