GTX 480 SLI reporting errors after reboot?!

Problem
Whenever I power up my PC everything boots up fine, and so do the VGAs. However, when I reboot from Windows, the VGAs seem to report problems whenever they boot up (error code 44), and the resolution is tiny and uses the on-board VGA. When I try to go to the nvidia control panel, it reports that the computer isn't connected to a nvidia device. Now, when I shut down the system, and power it back up, everything works fine and it reads the VGAs.
