GTX 480
win 7 pro 64
2 monitors both CRT

It seems almost every time I start up the computer one of the monitors loses its resolution and is set down to 1024x768. I cannot figure out what is causing this. Any ideas?

BTW since apparently this is to vague.

I have noticed that when I restart there is a couple seconds where the monitor is at the correct resolution then for no apparent reason it changes down to a lower resolution. It does this without the obvious turn off and on of the monitor.
