I used some of the usual OC'ing suspects on my W7U install, and I have a problem. I alt-tab frequently out of games(or Windows-key) as I check mail, w/e and for some reason after I get back into games (WoW, MW2, etc) the clock rate stays at the 2D clock rate.
Is there, besides setting the 2D and 3D low perf settings all to the 3D high perf settings, to force my 3d high perf settings? Or better yet, is there something that is a bit more along the lines of what coolbits used to be like? i.e. if wow.exe or iw4sp.exe is running, no matter what, don't go to 2D or 3D low perf settings? I used the program specific settings in all of the programs, but as soon as they detect that I go to 2D they set 2D settings and then don't go back without me having to relaunch game or change settings in said apps (galaxy's, msi's, and evga's offering) to force the core/shader/mem to be a different setting and apply.
