I was wondering if anyone can confirm the size of the gtx 470 or any direct x 11 video card.

Currently I have the gtx 260 and it barely fits in my case, but it does fit :)

I want to upgrade but dont want to get a card thats too big. Are the fermis the same size?

Its a gateway case. swapped out the psu and video card runs great with the gtx 260 but was hoping i could get more out of it.
 
a reference gtx470 is smaller than a reference gtx260. what are the rest of your specs including resolution?
 
Wow 470 is smaller thats good news. Right just the Intel Q9300 2.5ghz 6gb ddr2 ram 650 watt bfg psu and the GTX 260(evga)

Been running everything at 1920x1080

I play everything from WoW just got Dragon Age 2 thats why i want to utilize Dx11, plan on getting Crysis 2 Deadspace 2 as well.
 
I would get a gtx560 since it runs much quieter and cooler. with your cpu at stock speeds you will never get the performance you see in gtx470 and gtx560 reviews though.
