GTX 260 rma upgrade?

I've been out of the game for a while but i was wondering, i have a dead GTX 260 core 216 but i haven't sent it in for a replacement for months (it has a life time warranty) I just threw an extra card in and called it a day. This will be the third time i've had to send in my 260 and i'm a little pissed off and plan on bitching (for the record). That is also why i put off sending in the card.

My question is, when i send it in for a replacement (to evga) what card will i get back at this point? Will it be a gtx 260 or a newer card?

Difficult to say, they probably have spare stocks of GTX260s. If they don't, they'll probably fob you off with a GTS450 or 768MB GTX460. If they're feeling generous maybe a GTX560Ti, but that's probably unlikely.
 
Cool, thats kind of what i was thinking. Probably a gtx 460 seeing as the gts 450 actually has less cores than the 55nm 260. That is if i get anything different.
