I have a GTX 260.

And im getting a new PSU because i need more power..

Corsair 650TX

Antec TP750

They are the same price, it looks like TP 750 Has more amperage than the 650TX but it is multi 12v, while the 650TX has a single 12v.

Antec TP750 = 62A
Corsair 650TX = 52A

Which is better ? and better for future SLI?

I guess in terms of pure specifications, the Antec wins this one, but I for one like Corsair build quality more, which is very important when it comes to PSUs. Not to say that Antec isn't up there in build quality, they certainly are leaps-and-bounds ahead of no-name PSUs that used to be sold at CompUSSR, but given the two, I like going with a brand I know and trust. Though, the Antec wouldn't be a bad deal if sheer amperage was your objective, perhaps, for future expandability through SLI.

The multiple rail VS single rail is a total non-issue for 99% of people out there. So that's out of considering.

The TP750 has the better price to performance ratio and significantly more headroom for future upgrades. In addition, both PSUs are made by Seasonic.

what do you have in your curent system?
for reference, I have 285, 8gb ram 9 hd's quad core, audigy 2 zs, with an antec 650 tp3

I did not give this too much time but here is one that looks identical at first glance for less money. Good Luck

Antec TP750Went down to under $100.00 #N82E16817371025

The one you linked is #N82E16817371022

@ shiznito0: go with the Antec TPN750 - it's a great deal for 95$ with free shipping and it's a highly recommended PSU ! The model you linked it's with blue LEDs - IMO not worthy for an additional 45 bucks... meh ;)

Shiznitoo can you please list your system specs. I am pretty confident that either psu would handle your system but we do not like making recommendations without all the info generally. If you are running an avg setup with a gtx 260 the minimum rated psu is 36 amps on the 12 v rail. I always look forward when buying my psu so it would be nice to see what you've got under the hood so to speak.

Well i have a:
Q8200 2.33Ghz
250 HD
Dvd Writer
and thats it lol nothing special

so i guess i should get the antec?
how come i searched around and they said multi 12v rail isnt good?

explain pls?

both are great psu's if they are within $10-20 its a wash over the 5 year life of the psu so I would get the one with the most amp's and longest warranty.

The Antec is hands down the better PSU. The Corsair is excellent as well, but there's no reason to get it in the face of a better-performing option with more wattage.

Wish I had that when I had my Antec truepower and Enermax Liberty that both died within a year :(((

On an on-topic note: I have a Corsair 550VX and it's the best power supply I've ever owned. It's quiet, gives enough power, and has been running strong for ~2 years now.

I wish i had it when i bought my OCZ GamerXStream 700!, oh well they upgraded me to EliteXstream 850 for FREE! :D OCZ forever! :p

OCZ forever! :p
Since the EliteXStream line is now gone, I wouldn't recommend anything from OCZ right now. Most of their PSUs are cheap Sirfa or FSP designs which don't perform that well and have issues when running close to capacity.

The GTX260 won't break any sweat in neither of the options you mentioned, i would invest more on a power supply because you can easily reuse it for a future built.
