GTX 260 + 8600GT

I use three monitors on my main computer. Currently my main monitor is hooked up to an 8800GT and the other 2 monitors are on an 8600GT. I want to upgrade to a GTX 260 for some upcoming games.

My question is can I use the 8600GT and 260 in the same machine? They do not use the same drivers, like the gforce 6,7,8,9 series do. I know Vista won't let you mix ati and nvidia, but I don't know if it will let you load 2 different versions of an nvidia driver on.

So if anyone knows, let me know. My OS is Vista 64 and I'm not looking to change it. If you need any other specs just let me know.

the 8600gt's use different drivers?

I'm currently using a GTX260 + 8800gts640 in the same machine without issue. Using Vista x64 as well.

Are you using the 17x.xx series drivers? I thought those worked for about everything....

The latest beta drivers will work.

But not the latest whql drivers.

Ah, sweet. I seem to remember seeing different driver numbers for the cards so I figured they wouldn't work. Thanks for clearing that up. I'll go ahead with the upgrade then and re-open this if anything comes up.
