GTA IV Rocking camera issue

Ok, recently purchased/installed GTA IV.

Literally, as soon as I finish the initial car drive, the camera goes into a continuous rocking motion. I've disconnected all gamepads/rebooted and it still does this.

Anyone have suggestions on this?

are u sure you bought it? ;)
cuz that happens if u have "patched" the game for NoDVD :p
that´s a bad "patch" if u ask me ;)

I have a feeling he won't be doing that. I wish I had the same problem, it'd be easier than having spent the $50 for a game that is a piece of shit.

What don't you like about it? I have a less powerful pc than yours and it runs pretty well. The only thing that's bugging me is the texture pop-in. I don't regret the $50 purchase at all.
 
the rocking camera doesn't happen with....copies anymore Pirates=1, Rockstar=0 +$200K in wasted on protection when that could've been used else where


(i bought the game)

Runs like crap for most people playing at anything near Console quality. The game is buggy as hell, they lied about being able to play offline (can't save games), etc. People who pirated the game, like the OP, will have less BS to deal with.

You can use an offline GFWL account to save games, can't you? You can in every other GFWL game.

Actually pirates have more issues for now, not to mention its likely that the upcoming patch won't work on pirated copies.
