I have what appears to be small snowflakes with blue centers sitting at the bottom of my reservoir. Anyone have any ideas what it is? If its growth, how can I flush it out of my black ice gts 240?

sounds like it could be solder flux from your radiator....did you flush the radiator before you hooked it all up?

clearflex 60 it looks like snowflakes with blue dots. i put in some biocide and it made them whither.

sounds like the south park "sea men" episode...

Don't UV lights kill stuff? (not UV cathodes, but actual UV bulbs?)

Yea I agree. I had the same problem. Make sure you fill the radiator with vinegar, wait an hour, empty it and repeat until the fluid that comes out is clear. Finally flush out the radiator with hot distilled water a couple of times.

i meant when algae grows, it sticks to the walls and clogs things up. will vinegar loosen the snowflakes and allow me to flush them out? someone suggested i use a garden hose for high pressure and force it out...something i dont want to do.

ok so they wont be clogged up in the water lines of the reservoir and need to be flushed out by high pressure flow then
