I have a question for you all - is it possible to set, in a domain/group policy environment, a keyboard-based shortcut (i.e. Ctrl-Shift-1) to a specific shortcut in the startup folder? This would involve 5 different batch files, and each keyboard shortcut would have to be specific to each file.

I ask because there are certain operations that happen multiple times a day, in which I need to go to Programs->Startup to get to this particular batch file. Thanks!

What about if you precreate the shortcuts w/ the keyboard shortcuts and then deploy those using a GPO or startup/login script?

excellent idea - I bet that would work. I'll suggest that to the network admin, thanks

Yeah best bet is to make a VBScript for these shortcuts and then have the Network Admins deploy the scripts via Group Policy.
