griffin powermate problem

ok i got a griffin powermate for my car pc(http://griffintechnology.com/products/powermate/blackpm.php) well it works great but it refuses to start everytime my pc starts. i have to unplug the cable a couple of times for it 2 work. which is a pain when u are driving. is there a way i can fix this? I have the latest drivers. can i slow down the poermate initilization at the start up i think thats the problem for some reason.. thanx to any that reply. :) ..oh yeah specs---
