Green Lines using ATI AIW 9700 PRO

I am having trouble with my AIW 9700 PRO. Every once in a while, (During games and sometimes on the desktop), I will get mutiple bands of green lines going from the top of my screen to the bottom,

At first i thought this was a virus problem, so i re-installed Win XP and all current video drivers. Still get it.

Anybody got any idea what might cause this?

System setup:
Athalon 2700XP
Abit NF7-S
AIW 9700 Pro
512MB Corsair XMS RAM
KingWIN 450W PSU
Windows XP Pro (SP1)

Sounds like a hardware failure due to:

-Heat on the core (most likely)
-Some area of bad memory getting touchy due to either heat or faulty manufacturing
 
I am using the stock cooling on the AIW, i'll try to shoot some cool air from some fans on the card and see how that works.

Am using a 19" CRT no LCD....
