in far cry, and in some of the game tests on 3dmark (i haven't tried any other new 3d games lately), i see black pixels and sometimes white pixels along the screen. they disappear and others reappear. i have a radeon 9700 pro 128mb set at stock speed and a 2.4p4. i never noticed this problem on any other games, but i just started playing new 3d games again recently. This problem only happens at certain parts of the game and it never happens on half life mods or sacred. it also doesn't happen on some of the 3dmark game tests. anyone know how to fix this? thanks.
 
1st update all your drivers....mobo, vidcard, etc., then update windows and make sure you got latest version of direct-X...then check if it works better, if not try opening the case (could be a heat related problem) or try a different refresh rate on the monitor. or try V-sync ENABLED instead of disabled on monitor.
