Graphics incomplete in 2142

Hello,

I am recently having some issues with my new rig. When playing 2142, more and more frequently, I am seeing incomplete graphics, meaning..lines and triangles flying everywhere. I only started having this issue after i used 3DMark06 to benchmark my pc. Anyone have any ideas as how to deal with this? Below is my new rig specs:

AMD 6000+ 3ghz, not OCed.
Asus 32 SLI DELUXE MB
2 gig corsair ram 800mhz
2 7600 GT SLI
320G HD
OS = WIN XP PRO.
VID DRIVERS = LATEST FROM NVIDIA
 
check your heat output. make sure everything is set right etc.. you got also try wiping and reinstalling drivers
 
This is not "Incomplete graphics" . This is called Video Artifacts and this is what happpends when your card is defective or when the heat is too high.

Check your video card temperature in the nvidia control panel. If the card goes over 80/90c check if there is any dust in the video card cooler.

It is normal for the video card to run very hot, my 7800GT could do 105c without any problems.

If your video card is not overclocked and brand new, you have a defective one.

That goes with EVERY multiplayer game not just 2142..There are always people out there that have issues even with the easiest of installs.
 
Dude, I don't know what rock you've been living under but BF2142 is one of the buggiest games out there.

Do a search for problems with all the popular games out there and I bet the BF series comes out in first place.

There are always people out there that think that just because they don't have a problem with something, that everyone else who does, must not know what they're doing.
 
I've played all the BF games and have yet to have a single problem and most of my teammates feel the same way as I do. I think your the one under the rock, do you realize how many people have played 2142? A FRIGGIN LOT!!! So of course there will be lots of people with problems when you do the math. Just because you have had a problem with the game doesn't mean that everyone has.

What bugs? I haven't noticed any in a while. The only problem I have with the game is I spend too much time playing it.

If BF series does come out first place, it could mean that the BF series is THAT popular.

Thats PC gaming. If you can't deal with it, or demand absolutely trouble-free games, go with consoles.
 
by chance you didnt run Bf2142 as a bench Mark did ya ? Did 3dmark run or disable any DirectX files or dll's or filters?Seeing you say that the Game is only buggy since you ran 3dMark.........Maybe it messed with your game ini.files who knows ,try this .

Well i havnt played Bf2 or 2142 but try playing in Offline mode to see if your card still Artifacts or tears or gets Bsod ! offline dose not use Pb ......i used to run several Americas Army servers and have been admin for AA and CSS servers and have helped many players deal with nvidia and ATi bugs and card settings for the last 5years..I have seen most( Pb bugs glitches screenshots of artifacting and tearing)...If this only happens with Bf2 or 2142 delete your (System game. inifolder and Reinstall Game and or Patches....."Before you do this", make shure your( Direct X )is updated then reinstall game and do Pb updates manually before you go online in Pb enabled game mode ...

If your card is doing this in other games you may need to reinstall NvidiaDriver or change to differant Nvidia Driver and try to Verify that your (Video Card) is not( Overheating) first thing with hot card will be corupted Graphics ,Tearing then pixels then posibally sound conflicts or even a Bsod ....ive seen many game corruptions.... Many Pb errors due to (Drivers )and not having (Direct X )up to speed.....:cool:

Also note: Americas Army has over 6million players world wide and Growing since 2003release and its a free Game that uses unreal 4 engine with Great multiplayer action and lots of Maps to Kick but on..
