graphics card ram sinks

I have a question, where do the ram sinks go on the graphics card? On both sides of the ram modules or just one? if it's just 1, which side? The heatsink or opposite side?
 
Put one on each ram module. If you have a 128mb card, there are usually 8 modules. 4 on hs side, 4 on back.
