I have an x1800xt flashed to the platinum edition bios. It didn't do it when I first flashed it about a week ago, but lately after like 15-20 minutes, the graphics during a game like battlefield 2 or FEAR go corrupted and there is a pattern of block shapes covering the screen and the game freezes or goes to a blue screen that says something about ati3duag.dll. I'm in the process of overclocking my opteron 170 to 2.7ghz and finding a stable voltage. I've been playing games without running prime95 and just playing games to test cpu stablity if they crash or mess up or what ever. I'm not sure if the graphics artifacting/corruption is because of the cpu being overclocked and somehow erroring somewhere in communicating with the driver or something. But i don't see how that would case graphics corruption. Or if the problem is due to the card overheating because it is overclocked quite a bit. Am I going to have to get an aftermarket cooler for this beast. My brother has the same card which he flashed as well and has no problems and I understand that not all gpu's handle overclocks and heat the same. Anyways, what do you think I should do?
