Graphical glitch in WOW.

If you notice, the player casting the spell isn't there.

And I do have a problem with not seeing some players. I can't click on them either. All I see is their shadows scurring around. I wish I had a better screenshot to show you. It's real annoying going into a auction house to see that half of them are invisible models that you can only tell they're there by their little shadows on the ground.

I assume this is a glitch. But from what? Installation error? Graphic Card error (I hope not, this thing is a GeForce 6800 GT)? Maybe I hit something in the video menu that caused this?

Try turning your graphics settings down to the lowest level and see if you still have the same problem, then turn them back up a little at a time until the problem reappears. If that doesn't help it's probably lag related. What's your average ping?

Also try cleaning out your drivers and doing a fresh install of them. Have you ever played WoW on your rig with a different video card and experienced different results?

no matter what I do I cannot get rid of the flipping jaggies on this game.

oh and I dropped my shammy 1 month after the game came out - way too many 13 year olds playing them.

that acutally might have to do with a connection issue. i had a problem with not being able to see any characters. this was a because of a nforce3 mobo ethernet settings. I suggest going on the WoW forums. thats how i got mine fixed
