hello all!!!

im newbie and need some help!!!!

I need to build a pc with sufficient video, memory, processor, etc., to be able to do graphic design... what good price/performance video card could I buy????

thanks in advance...

FireGL and Quadro cards are better for graphic design but it will cost more than the Radeon/GeForce card. Here you can find out more on how to mod a Radeon card into a FireGL card or a GeForce card into a Quadro card.

Hold on. What kind of graphic design do you do?
The field is EXTREMELY broad. Are you a print designer? Motion graphics designer?

I am anal about this kind of thing because I've been working in the field for about 3 years as a print designer and going to school to get to eventually get a masters in color theory and honestly there are WAY too many talentless idiots claiming to be graphic designers.

Sorry... rant... If you do motion graphics or flat 3D rendering the FireGL and Quadro cards are great for the rendering aspect. If you do print, a crappy integrated solution will do you fine.

Its not for myself i just want to built a pc for a costumer, hes doing some 3d rendering and hes using Adobe programs to do it. Which Quadro and FireGL do you recommend?
