GTA has always been one of the most fun games to play if you just want to get out and drive, cause some mayhem, and then go back to your real life. :D

I can't wait to have a game launcher for every individual game publisher on the market!

I really don't mind a few; I already have Steam, Origin, and Epic Games launcher, but this is getting retarded.

It's going the same way of TV/Movie streaming services as well where soon we'll be spending as much across 5 different streaming services for countless for the few shows we watch as we just were on cable for their stupid bundles where we don't need 98% of the channels on them.

Rockstar has had one since they launched GTAV. Even the Steam version of GTAV requires the R* Launcher and a Social Club account. It just launches it silently in the background.

Yeah but now it's an actual launcher you have to launch your games through with a store, library, and all that jazz. I've been playing through GTA V a second time recently and when I went to launch it yesterday it made me download the new launcher.

One thing I found interesting is that when I let it scan for games to make sure I didn't have to dl GTA V again it found an old backup install of Bully and wanted to add it to my library. The reason I found it interesting is that it's heavily modded and even has a no cd crack replacing the main executable, I own a physical copy but they don't know that. It looks like it will add any Rockstar game installed on a PC without any real checks to make sure you own it.

Waiting for the 'yo dawg we heard you like launchers so we've created a launcher inside another launcher so you can launch more launchers' meme :p

And the whole 'disruption' leads right back to 'business as usual'. At the end of the day when there's an established industry that's got competition in it, there's less than 20% bloat in it to really cut. So when someone comes along and 'disrupts' the industry with a 50% price cut without working out all the details, it's only a matter of time before they're either out of business or just like the other companies they were supposed to undercut. :ROFLMAO:

Wait until there's a launcher for every game! And dongles! Yeah dongles! :D
