Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Is there anything to eliminate the tears and poor quality of any and all videos i watch on my 2005fpw?
I'm not impressed by dvd's or any mpg's etc///
all these were great on my crt...i mean this is 12 ms...
The only reason they looked "great" on your CRT compared to the new display is because the CRT lacked the image quality to show the graphic imperfections in the video.
I really don't think you can do anything about it other than get a higher quality source.
It's most likely something that you have to get used to since you just switched to LCD. The resolution of 2005 is quite high compared to most 19" CRTs' most ideal resolutions which is why the video quality looks worse, try sitting farther away from the monitor than you used to sit before, but you probably just need some time to get use to it.
You think that's bad though? Try watching a 480p video on a 2405, lol. In comparison the 2005's got much better image quality in videos due to its smaller size.
EDIT: I have not noticed any tearing in videos though. just FYI.
