Since few days I have again a working BOINC/GPUgrid system with a mix of GTX 780 and 970; running Linux with 346.35 driver.

I wonder why the 970 is faster on FAH while the 780 rocks on GPUgrid. As suggested from IRC the number of shaders are different.
But still that not fully explains me the difference between both projects; basically doing the same computation ? Sure , different algorithms ...

What experiencs you guys have with 780/970 in comparison and the two projects ?
