Here are links to GPU2 PpD comparison data for both ATI and NVIDIA cards. The data has been compiled by legoman666 from user postings on foldingforum.org. I've merely taken his Excel spreadsheets and imported the data into Google Docs so it can be more easily viewed especially by those who don't have Excel.

It looks like the PPD numbers are for a single GPU client, even if the card has multiple processors.

Yes, much like CPU PpD comparisons on fahinfo.org, PpD is per core as it should be.
 
Nice find. It seems like the ATI client is pretty sensitive to GPU core speeds, which is something I did not know before. I'll have to play around with that some more on my 4870.
