Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Seriously, I'm not running the GPU2 client yet, but from what I have read, drivers are an important factor with the client... what card/drivers are you using?
Od course, like I said, I'm not using it yet so any advice I can offer is probably worthless anyhow....
Good luck man.... hope you get things settled soon....
Kendrak, you should be getting a lot more than that!
I have Vista (64 bit) on my main rig with 4 gig of ram. There are 2 instances of SMP going (with affinity changer) along with the GPU 2 client (using the 177.35 drivers with hacked .inf file).
Q6600@3.2Ghz
SMP1 =1615 ppd
SMP2 =1433 ppd
8800GTX = 4980 ppd (576 core/900 mem/1550 shader (1350 stock)
Note those SMP values are just slightly less than what I was getting before I started running with GPU2. FahCore_11 only seems to be using 4-10% cpu power while the rest of the SMP cores are taking up the rest....this seems really strange to me, but for 8,000 ppd I am not complaining.
I'm running GPU2 in core 0 for ~4500PPD (assuming 24 hours), single client on core 1 for ~1000 PPD, and SMP in VM on cores 2 and 3 for ~2000 PPD....the important thing for the GPU2 is indeed the drivers...the hacked 177.35 drivers are SIGNIFICANTLY faster...check the thread about them for links for the hacked .inf
My GPU did not do any work yesterday (Sunday). Weird. It worked great for a few days and then it is not working at all. When I try to look at the log file, a windows message asks me if I want to create the log file (since it does not exist).
