I read on the FAQ that it doesn't play nicely with vista 64.....Does anyone have any experiances with it? My 8800 GTS is just sitting here.....:)

To get it to work, you will need to use the 177.35 drivers.
To get them to install, you will need to download the moddified nv4_disp.inf file for them.

Luck .............. :D

Someone managed to modify the 177.35 drivers package without breaking the WQHL check so grab it from http://ashentech.com/index.php?topic=1124.0 and install it like that. It works fine with Vista x64 (tried that yesterday on a rebuilt box and it worked perfectly).

I have mine working with Vista 64.

I had to reboot last night... the GPU2 client sat for 30 hours without grabbing a new work unit. When I got home last night the GPU2 told me that it was "sleeping."

A reboot fixed my problems.

It's working fine for me with the GTX200 WHQL drivers and the modified inf from here.

I've had crashes if I try to fire up a game without pausing or quitting f@h, but other than that it's stable.

How about 64bit XP? I just got an 8800GTX installed and see this in the logfile.

Just checked the Stanford server stats.
130.49.240.81 only had 108 work-units left to disk out on the last update.
Try stopping the client for 5 mins and hopefully when you restart, you'll get a different server.
I got 171.64.65.20 on my last upload and thats got a lot of work on it.

Luck ............... :D

Nice.

If you are paranoid about binaries from unknown sources (like me), the GTX200 177.35 WHQL driver from NVIDIA works with the guru3d inf without pressing f8 at boot time.
