when is the 800 series graphics cards coming out i was thinking of waiting to get a gpu when they come out to finish my build i also herd that they will be cheaper then the 700 series
 
Yep, end of the year, early next year. Rumors and more rumors. Price is said to be lower than 700 series
 
There is nothing but rumour and speculation out there at this point, but one can safely assume in the world of graphics hardware that the next generation of hardware will be better than the current.
 
I didn't take the time to memorize what I read but I thought the 800 series were going to be real Directx 12 cards which are going to rival Mantle. No word yet if Directx 12 is going to be Win9 exclusive or not.

Knowing Microsoft they'd do something douchy like that. I am not jumping on the DX12 backwards compatible boat either. I think some features may be backwards compatible, but without knowing exactly what Microsoft intends on adding I think it's way too premature for either AMD or Nvidia to claim cards out now support DX12.
