This WU completed a week ago with 178 failed uploads since completion. The deadline is in a few days and the server has no record of it. It would be a shame to let it expire. Any other way to send this baby home? I tried restarting the client (knowing this would not work - it's a server issue).
 
You are looking at two servers in this log file. The primary work server that assigned you the work unit (171.67.108.21) and the spill over collection server (108.26). The CS is suppose to be a catch all if the work servers are down but it has never worked as designed and will not until all the new servers and new server software is up and running.

171.67.108.21 is one of those servers that routinely sees high CPU and net loads. As of this moment, the server is up but it is showing high CPU load and could be the reason your requests are failing.

Instead of relying on the auto-send, which can take upwards of several hours to retry after failed attempts, I'd try to hammer out a few manual sends using the -send 7 command line flag. If you are going to be near the box for a few hours, try it every 10 minutes or so. Unfortunately, at this point, you are just really unlucky with bad timing to get in while the server has low load and there isn't much else you can do.

Edit: this assumes you don't have any firewall issues and your network is sane.

No issues with my network/LAN/firewall(s). Have 4 GPU and 8 CPU clients passing data to/from Stanford for a few years now. The GPU client with the stale WU has moved on and completed/returned dozens of WU since then.

I just tried -send 7 a bunch of times. Same message - server has no record of unit. :( I'll keep at it. I think the deadline was Feb 4. Thanks.
 
i would just count it as some lost points and just leave it.. should delete its self after the deadline i think or you could manually delete it..
