GPU Watercooling & memory?

I've been looking at watercooling for a few days now... and I have a question.
Is an "all-in-1" WC block for both GPU and video ram setup the best way to go? It seems to me that the video memory may not be the same level across the PCB.... there would hafta be some degree of variation between ram chips. Isn't there more chance of not sitting flush on some of the GPU ram with these all-in-1 deals?

I'm kinda more tempted to go GPU cooler and ramsinks. Unless I am missing something here.....

Watercooling memory has never really landed a benefit. Go for the GPU and ramsinks.

Most people just do the GPU block and Ram sinks seperately, it's just easier. Like the guy said above, good ram sinks do the job just fine.

Ramsinks need airflow to do their job well. To answer your question, good airflow over the ram chips will help to cool them, but good airflow over mounted ramsinks will yield a higher degree of improvement. Are they necessary? Not really, but why not take advantage of that airflow by further cooling your ram with sinks.

basicly, do what I did, I kept the stock ram cooler/heatpipe on my 6800, with a card cooler under the card blowing air across it. It works great. And most block fittings will fit over the ram cooler.

I eyeballed it today, and I think if i drill and mount the maze4 just right, I can use the stock ramsink. I still need to test the thing before I void my warranty though
