GPU Water Cooling

Why are there not any GPU Water Cooling setups "ALL IN ONE" pre-made ready to go... ?

I'd rather not fiddle with custom setups, and just slap one on there and be done :D
 
I would say it's because of the constantly changing PCB design. You can't just mount a universal waterblock on there and be done with it, you need to put heatsinks on the RAM and VRMs as well.

Not to mention, how many cases have fan spots within easy reach of the short hoses of AIOs? Side panel wouldn't work well, and there's only one rear exhaust for most cases. That would be fine for a single card setup, but not when you have multiple cards.
 
The problem with GPU cards is that the cooling needs to cool more than just the core, it needs to cool the VRMs, and to a lesser extent, the memory. The GPUs are all roughly the same size, but the layout of the other board components is all over the place from model to model. Unless a universal GPU layout is enforced like ATX, universal coolers will be touch and go at best.
 
It's moderately easy to "mod" most modern GPU's with all-in-one CPU coolers. When I did it on a 580 it took no more than 10 minutes putting on an antec kuhler. It helps if you can have a fan for the VRM. (as mentioned earlier)
 
Unless your doing a full loop, your better off with a custom after market cooler. Or you could invest in the following which you can re-use overtime

XSPC X2O 750 Dual 5.25” Bay Reservoir Pump
280 Radiator
Then what ever full cover water block

But the above setup will cost 250$

The X2O is a sorry excuse for a pump...expect it to die and then replace it with something better quality.

There's a reason it is cheap.
 
It's still going to fail within a relatively short amount of time.

My PMP-500 with primochill CTR res mounted to some black acrylic that I'm mounting inside my caselabs m8. Gonna look sweet when I'm all done...
 
There is the Accelero Hybrid, and NZXT showed few days ago the special Kraken block, that you can add to their Kraken 60 series.
 
I actually can't hear my 290x when gaming... I honestly can't tell if it's my H100i fans or the 290x fan currently at 55% fan.

I just thought a AIO for video cards would be cool, and simple/easy. But, I guess after learning all the boards/chipsets are different andr equire cooling in different places it then makes it almos timpossible.
