I'm rather new to overclocking my vid card (9700 pro), i was wondering how the core and memory increases effect specific performances.
higher resolutions and anti-aliasing are more memory intensive, while high polygon counts and PS effects are more GPU intensive, right?
I don't have any extra heat spreaders on my vid card, so im not going too aggressive, but i'm wondering whether it would be better to go *example* 12% overclock on both memory and core, or to go like 7%/14%, since im fighting the heats limiting each other.
I'm looking more in theory here than in practice, so any knowledge is helpful.
