what is a good underload temp and what dose the computer do when it over heats?
 
depends on the video card....and your computer can do anything from crash and recover the driver (vista) or hardlock...blue screen etc
 
my bfg 8800gts g92 goes up to 65 max underload. Dunno if thats good or bad but idles at 49

That's not a bad temp. Some reference GT's and GTS's go into the 80's-90's at load.
