GPU running too hot?

I accidentally posted this in the display forum instead of here, so I'm reposting it here.

I have an EVGA 8800GTX running at 575Mhz. At idle, Everest reports about 50 degrees, while under load I've seen it as high as 70 or 71 degrees, usually right after the game I've been playing freezes. Is 70 degrees too hot?
 
WOW! That's hot! Thanks for the info, I'll keep looking elsewhere for the problem.
