Hi
I was wondering if someone could show me a reliable source or describe what Ati's R600 , R250 etc etc actualy mean. My current assumption is that its like the codename for ATi's card technolgy. i know Nvidia use a similar system to name there cards? If someone could just clarfy this, it would be appricated.
Another issue i dont really understand is different fabrication processes such as 80/65nm and 120nm. If someone could again describe these to me. I always assumed larger was bigger but i dont think thats the case.
Any help would be appricated. thanks
these questions come from the fact that the R600 has been delayed until next year.
